We were commissioned to create the new Identity for TasRail, following the Tasmanian Government’s buy back of the AN Tasrail business from Pacific National in 2009.
TasRail combined the above-rail (rollingstock) and business assets with the below-rail assets (track and associated infrastructure), for which the state had already reassumed responsibility.
Working closely with The Chairman, we first undertook a brand audit assessing the need for transition on extensive infrastructure across the state.
The new TasRail brand I designed was then applied to corporate identity, signage at both administration building and rail yard sites, and for both OH&S compliant and way-finding requirements.
Uniforms, Personal Protection Equipment and most excitingly for our trains enthusiast studio manager, all livery for new locomotives and wagons.
We also created the employee and community engagement campaign ‘TasRail. Our future on track.’
